Welcome to Church of the Enlightened Pets
Church of the Enlightened Pets is a ministry that specializes for pet's and ministers around the world. Every chaplain (or minister) works as independent branch of our ministry, within their own congregation, ministry or organization. Enlightened Animals have been around since the very first time a human being felt connected to an animal.
In all of the world's great faiths, there are important figures who were known for interpreting the sacred scriptures and were able to teach people to protect and honor animals. In modern day we are taught, in every faith; that we must be stewards to the world and wonders of creation. Though a serious responsibility, with it comes great joy and self-discovery.
Why should I become an Member?
Independent ministers are able to provide an services for their own community, with the ability to perform:
- Pet loss grief support
- Visit clinics and offer support during surgery
- Memorial services
- Prayer for the injured or sick
- Vigils for the departed
- Perform any other sacerdotal service of clergy
Our philosophy is that we do not teach theology - We teach Compassion, Love and Respect. Your pet shows you sincere compassion for the difficult times you have faced, its your turn to give your respect back.
